Sections
From BBlog
Basic introduction
When you access this screen the first thing displayed is a list of existing sections. If this is your initial visit, you will see the preset sections. You can change the Display Name of the current sections and Save your amendments, or Delete the section.
Under the New Section header there are three fields, "URL Name", "Display Name" and "Content" (We'll get to this one later). Use the two first headers to create the sections you require.
Here are some examples:
| URL Name | Display Name |
| sitenews | Site News |
| news | General News |
| lifestyle | Lifestyle |
| bike | My Motorbike |
| lamp | LAMP |
| web | Web Design |
Use sections to define logical areas for your blog, which you can sort on. For details, see the Templates section.
The Display Name is pretty self-explanatory; it is the name that will be used whenever a title for the section needs to be displayed.
The URL name can be used to access posts through a URL like this: www. yourblog .com/blog/section/urlname/ So, if the above example configuration would be for a blog running at www. blogsunlimited. com/blog, you will be able to find sitenews at www. blogsunlimited. com/blog/sections/sitenews. You will need clean URLs for this to work.
